OpenAI announces a Bug Bounty program [Launch]
OpenAI has partnered with Bugcrowd, a leading bug bounty platform, to manage the submission and reward process of its Bug Bounty Program. The program aims to recognize and reward security researchers who can report vulnerabilities, bugs, or security flaws they discover in OpenAI's systems, playing a crucial role in making the technology safer. Rewards range from $200 for low-severity findings to up to $20,000 for exceptional discoveries.

Amazon Bedrock [Launch]

Meta released a unique AI dataset for animating amateur drawings [Launch]
A new dataset of nearly 180,000 annotated amateur drawings has been released by Meta, along with animation code, to help AI researchers and creators bring artwork to life through animation. The dataset, collected through a browser-based demo, includes real-world conditions such as blurriness, hard shadows, and crinkled surfaces, making it distinctive for its size and in-the-wild nature, and could inspire new digital-physical hybrid experiences and applications in art and storytelling.

Baby AGI is an AI-powered task management system. The script then uses OpenAI's natural language processing (NLP) capabilities to create new tasks based on the objective, and Pinecone to store and retrieve task results for context.Read more here [link]
Alibaba reveals a ChatGPT rival, Tongyi Qianwen [Launch]
Chinese tech giant unveiled Tongyi Qianwen, a large language model that will be embedded in its Tmall Genie smart speakers and workplace messaging platform DingTalk. It was trained on vast troves of data in order to generate compelling responses to users’ prompts. The technology will initially be integrated into those two products and eventually added to all Alibaba applications, from e-commerce to mapping services, according to the company.

Italy gives OpenAI initial to-do list for lifting ChatGPT suspension order [News]
The Italian data protection authority has given OpenAI guidelines to lift the suspension order on ChatGPT, which was issued due to suspected GDPR breaches. The compliance demands include publishing an information notice detailing data processing, adopting age gating for minors, clarifying the legal basis for data processing, providing ways for users to exercise rights over their data, allowing users to object to data processing, and conducting a local awareness campaign. OpenAI has until April 30 to comply with most of the measures, with a deadline of May 15 for the awareness campaign and May 31 for submitting a plan for implementing age verification tech.
